Sheryl Underwood is a American comedian, host of a TV show and actress who is famous for hosting The Talk, a popular talk show on daytime. The Talk. Born in Arkansas she was raised within Little Rock and Atwater. Sheryl was raised in an extremely difficult household. Sheryl spent most of her growing up helping her younger sister Frankie with polio. When she was growing up, Sheryl experienced many issues with her mom. Sheryl claims that her mom had a time when she stabbed her father because he was too close. Sheryl joined military after graduating from the college. The area of interest she was most interested in was comedy. She became the first female finalist in the competition Miller Lite Comedy Search held in 1989. Her TV career in 1992 when she became a frequent participant during the HBO comedy show Def Comedy Jam. In 2000, she was a host on the TV talk show Oh Drama! In 2011, she began being for The Talk as co-host. The actress has appeared on fictional series such as Bulworth Nikki, Beauty Shop and others.
