Amy Smart is an American former actress and model. Amy Smart was born and was raised in California, United States of America. Amy Smart started modelling in Italy. Her first role as an actor was in the TV production Her Costly Affair. After that, she was a star in a small role in the movie Starship Troopers she struggled very hard. It was a hard time when she had to change between modeling and acting because the models were never believed to be actors and tended to be granted smaller, insignificant roles. Amy was determined to succeed and eventually she was offered bigger parts beginning in The 70s, the movie Varsity Blues. Amy later stepped into lead roles in 2005's romantic comedy Just Friends starring Ryan Reynolds. Amy attained the fame she had been searching for for more than 10 years when her film called Just Friends came out. The actress continued to appear in major films, such as Crank with Jason Statham or Shameless in which she was loved as a as a recurring role.
